ECE Enrichment Classes

 

At the Lisa & Thom Mandel Early Child Education Center, we offer exciting early childhood enrichment classes for our students and all children in the area! Classes and times change throughout the year to offer the best programming for your little one. Paint Play with Ms. Mellissa

 

Ages 2½-5 years

 

Children will learn creative painting techniques as well as color mixing and how to use basic shapes. Children paint with their fingers, objects, fruit and more!

Violin Classes

 

Ages 3-5 years


Suzuki ECE classes are an extension of the internationally known Suzuki method. In this program, a group of mixed-age children meet weekly to build concepts and skills laid out in the Suzuki ECE repertoire while interacting with one another, their parents, and the teachers.

 

Tuesdays, Jan. 14- March 4 (recital on March 11 at 6:15 p.m.)

A Book a Week!

 

Ages 2 1/2-5 years

 

Join Ms. Kim and Ms. Lori for a weekly "book club." We will introduce new authors as well as reconnect with some of our favorites. 

To coincide with the book of the week, children will enjoy art, activities, games and more!

Music with Mr. Jeff

 

Ages 2 1/2-5 years

 

Children will join our musical "mad men" Mr. Jeff for an introduction to all things music. Students will enjoy do-re-mi intro, sing-a-longs, beats and rhythms, children's Jewish songs, and silly songwriting too!

 

Thursdays, Jan. 16, 23, 30 Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27 and March 5

Winter Workout

 

Ages 3-5 years 

 

Children will be picked up from their ECE class and learn skills for sports such as basketball, soccer, and hockey. Class may end with playtime or reading a book and then children will be returned back to their ECE class. 

 

Mondays, Jan. 20- Feb. 24 (no class on Feb. 17 due to ECE conferences).

Spring Into Sports

Children will learn skills to play soccer, tennis and t ball, there will be some game time play and other fun skill-related activities.
